You Can Make a Difference

During "normal times", there are many ways you can help the club.  For example, you can assist setting up the monthly meeting room, bring snacks to the meeting, weed the club's apiary at the Yakima Area Arboretum, teach a class on making a solar beeswax melter (or other DIY bee project), staff the booth at an educational event (e.g., the Honey Booth at the Central WA State Fair), assist during an in-class demonstration, participate on a club committee, etc.!

Want to join our efforts but not sure where to start? Become a Paid Member (typically annual dues are $40 but this year, during COVID, they're just $1 -- such a deal!).  Or, select the CWBA as your charity of choice at; purchase an item for the club off our Amazon Charity List; make a random amount donation to the club's general fund.  These are all wonderful ways to contribute to our cause!

Here are some of the past collaborations we've explored, do you see yourself/your organization fitting in on this list?  Please do send us an email so we can examine new opportunities to combine our public outreach efforts!  Yakima Area Arboretum, Yakima Valley Audubon /Migratory Bird Day, Central WA State Fair, Yakima Home & Garden Show, Tieton Open House, Toppenish National Wildlife Refuge, Yakima Folklife Festival, many schools...
